leads in many operas, musicals and plays through high school and college. In time spent outside the theatre, Ben continued to hone his musical skills with vocal lessons, choir, tuba, piano, guitar, and even singing and playing with several rock bands. He also began working on several screenplay concepts during his late high school and early college years.
While attending a small liberal arts college in Kansas, Ben took a semester off of and moved to Los Angeles, CA where he studied Acting for Film at the New York Film Academy, Universal Studios.
After his brief stint in California, Ben moved back to Kansas to finish college, but never lost his passion for theatre and film. After graduating college Ben continued to be involved with music, theatre, and even joined a local Improv troupe. After working at various points as a waiter, social services’ children’s case manager and a motorcycle salesman, Ben finally moved back to Los Angeles to pursue his career as an actor.
In addition to auditioning and booking acting work, Ben performs stand-up and improv comedy and is developing a new web series with his production company Man Breakfast Productions.
Ben currently resides in Los Angeles, CA.
